Day 23 Computer Lights
Computer Lights
Today I waited to the last minute to take my pictures. I did however post this picture on the same day I took it which is a first. A friends at school, Colin, wanted some pictures of his computer since it's a pretty awesome one. It has all sorts of blue lights on it and I really regretted leaving my tripod in a different building. The bright blue glow created a great erie feeling and I liked that stark outline that the hoses gained.

You mentioned not having your tripod. How did you compensate for this? What camera settings did you use? I'm guessing the source of the blue light is built into the computer and that the light on the fan blade is a reflection. Is this correct? The small bits of warm color (red & yellow wires and the red & orange led reflections) really bring together the photo for me. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThank You. I am constantly reminded that I should never think "I wont need my tripod" and leave it behind by instances like this one. I used a slow shutter speed due to the dark conditions but I braced the camera on objects to help create a sharper image. Yes there is a lot of blue light both reflected and bulbs themselves and if there had been white light shinning on it then the reds and yellows would be even more noticeable.
